Raising Films Ireland are looking to appoint a part-time co-ordinator who will help us to roll out a pilot Return to Work Programme. This role is an exciting new opportunity to direct the work of Raising Films Ireland in the following areas:

a)     Work on bringing already highly skilled workers back into the industry who have left to take a caring break.

b)     Help create a more flexible working environment for carers who currently work in the industry

c)     Build on this work so that industry workers don’t necessarily have to choose between their career and caring, create room for both.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Remote/certain events will be site specific

Work Schedule: Part Time Position, 16 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Contract: Fixed Term

Salary: €25 per hour / €200 per day / €400 per week (gross)

Reporting to: RFI Board Members specifically the Chairperson.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Implementation of the Return to Work strategic plan and function of Raising Films Ireland as supported and directed by the board

·       Raising further funding for the Return to Work scheme

·       Regular engagement and communication with Screen Ireland, BAI and other industry stakeholders

·       Report to the board on progress of action plan, oversee day-to-day operation of and present proposals on next steps to continuously develop the scheme

·       Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, and reporting in relation to the Return to Work scheme.

·       Engage with training and education agencies such as Cultural and Creative Industries Skillnet and Screen Ireland on training opportunities.

·       Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

·       Assisting with minor day-to-day administrative requirements of the company e.g. checking company email, updating social media pages from time to time.

 

Requirements:

 

·       Previous experience in a project co-ordination role

·       Ability to take initiative and work autonomously

·       Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget

·       Website experience preferable but not essential

·       Experience of the Irish screen industry preferable but not essential

·       Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, policy makers, key internal stakeholders and industry partners and financiers.

·       An understanding of corporate governance and compliance requirements preferable but not essential

Please note this role is a part time role for two days a week for six months. There is room to expand this. This role is open to job sharing.
